To be able to identify the progress of a photograph and the substrate, specialist knowledge is required, which is often not present in museums. Within the Photography Project is, among other things, a decision tree been developed, so that managers, registrars and conservators can identify a large part of their photography collections themselves in the future, monitor them and take conservation measures where necessary.
